| What a difference 3 years makes! I was approached by Laurie Hathorn in 2005 at a perfect time when I was losing the passion for the business after 18 years with Coldwell Banker. The more I heard, the more fascinated I became because clearly this company, Keller Williams, “gets it” and has a unique business model - no wonder they are the fastest growing company in the country. My passion for the business is back and I am proud to be associated with this innovative company. The management cares, the top agents share their ideas, the agents surrounding me have a positive attitude and the education and training is far superior than any other company. I am working smarter, feeling less stressed and more in control, and love the additional challenge of being on the Agent Leadership Council, building a team and recruiting. I “capped” in July 2008 meaning I have been on 100% split since then. I am doing OVER 100% thanks to that extra bonus called “profit sharing.” The office shares half of our profits monthly with the agents. | Refreshing is the first word that came to mind when I first learned of Keller Williams Realty. Here was an organization that was focused on the agent and their relationships with sellers/buyers. Equally important was the desire of the company to raise the professional platform for agents in our industry through education and consulting As a returning agent to the sales arena (after 4 years in real estate management), having the guidance and direction to re-build a dynamic sales business is priceless. | Making a switch to Keller Williams from a cookie cutter company like Houlihan Lawrence was the best, most rewarding move that I have ever made. Coming to an office where the primary focus is on the agents and their production level unlike Houlihan Lawrence was quite refreshing. Keller Williams has much more to offer the agents. We have a profit sharing plan, there is an ongoing monthly training calender that the agents choose which class they want to attend, we have a catered office meeting where we brain storm about new ideas, we learn how to improve our existing techniques in order to become more productive. In our office meeting our team leader shares with us the facts of the office whether it be statistics or what is happening in KW Cares. I find our office meetings informative and enlightening. KW Cares is a small part of why I am proud to call Keller Williams my second home. All of the Keller Williams agents try to help each other as much as possible. There is an enormous amount of positive energy and the feeling of wanting to be successful in my Keller Williams office. There is also a feeling of wanting to share your ideas, feelings and thoughts with the people around you. At Keller Williams I have never felt that any business that I have brought in or have discussed with everyone in the office has ever been compromised. Keller Williams to me is like familiy. When there is uncertainty in a situation I know that I can reach out to anyone of my colleagues or management and they would be there to help me through or just confirm the facts for me. Being in the business since 1999 and being a part of Keller Williams since 2006 I can honestly say that I have found my niche. I have found a company who has instilled in me positive beliefs about business. It has shown me how I can alter what I am presently doing as an Associate Broker to better myself and my business. | Keller Williams is AWESOME! Joining the White Plains office was the BEST real estate decision I have made thus far! After 2 years into the business with a traditional, out-of-the-box, average-thinking office that offered no training, no support, no tools or resources, nor keen industry knowledge or techniques, and no vision into the future except for “everyone out for themselves”, I finally jumped ship.
